Kansas State University’s all-time winningest basketball coach, Jack Hartman, is on the
ballot for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. During his 16-season tenure
with the Wildcats, Hartman achieved 295 wins, nine postseason appearances, and
secured three Big Eight regular-season titles alongside two Big Eight Tournament
championships.
Hartman, a legendary figure in Kansas State athletics, left an indelible mark on the
program. His strategic acumen and leadership brought national recognition to the
Wildcats, cementing his place as one of the most influential coaches in college
basketball history.
If selected, Hartman would join the pantheon of basketball greats whose legacies are
enshrined in the Hall of Fame, a fitting recognition for a coach whose impact continues
