K-State Adds Weber, Scott to Football Staff

Kansas State announced two additions to its football staff Thursday, hiring Stanton Weber as special teams coordinator and Trey Scott as general manager.

Weber returns to Manhattan after three seasons in the same role at Toledo. He previously coached at K-State and South Carolina and played for the Wildcats from 2011 to 2015. At Toledo, Weber’s units produced multiple All-MAC performers and ranked nationally in areas such as blocked punts and return defense. He helped the Rockets reach the Boca Raton Bowl this past season.

Scott joins the program as general manager after 11 years in NFL player personnel and three years working as an agent. A former K-State quarterback, Scott will oversee roster management, retention strategies, and recruiting planning in collaboration with head coach Collin Klein and the staff.

Both hires bring professional and collegiate experience as K-State prepares for the evolving landscape of college football.
