The Kansas State men’s and women’s golf teams each finished fourth at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational on Wednesday, posting their best rounds of the tournament with matching 7-over-par 295 scores.
The men finished with a 54-hole total of 31-over 895, while the women closed at 38-over 902. Senior Shea Harmeson led the men with a final-round 71 to tie for seventh at 3-over 219. Freshmen Oliver Toyer and Ville Virkkala joined him in the top 30.
For the women, senior Noa van Beek tied for sixth at 5-over 221, while sophomore Kelsey Chen shot a team-best 2-under 70 to tie for 13th.
Arkansas swept both team titles, with John Daly II winning the men’s individual championship and Mississippi State’s Avery Weed taking the women’s crown. K-State’s women play next week at the OU Intercollegiate, while the men compete October 25-26.
