Kansas State University will embark on a statewide tour to engage with community members and explore issues related to food security, entrepreneurship in the food industry, and educational access. The K-State community visit spring series will be held from April 28-30, featuring events in Hamilton, Finney, and Sumner counties, as well as surrounding areas. The university’s mission as a next-generation land-grant institution emphasizes community engagement through outreach, research, and service programs that address real-world challenges.
Key events include a food access discussion in Hamilton County, educational opportunities at Garden City Community College, and a food entrepreneurship workshop in Sumner County.
All events are free and open to Kansans, including students, community members, and industry leaders.
