Kansas State women’s rowing head coach Kennedy Felice announced her first recruiting class Thursday, signing 19 student-athletes for the 2026–27 season.
The class draws heavily from the Midwest and includes five athletes from Kansas. Many of the signees come from multi-sport backgrounds, including volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, track and swimming. The staff focused on athletes with competitive experience and interest in developing in a new sport at the college level.
Felice said the group reflects the work ethic and mindset the program is looking to build moving forward. Assistant coaches Lindsey DeVreugd and Halle Fee played key roles in the recruiting process and spent time building relationships with the class throughout their high school careers.
Several signees noted the opportunity to compete in Division I athletics while being part of a supportive team environment as a major reason for choosing K-State.
The class will arrive in Manhattan next fall and begin preparation for the upcoming season.
