K-State Soccer Adds Dobyns to Coaching Staff

K-State soccer head coach Colleen Corbin has completed her coaching staff for the 2026 season by hiring Maddie Dobyns as an assistant coach. Dobyns will oversee the Wildcats’ goalkeepers as the program builds on recent progress.

Dobyns brings coaching experience from Kentucky, Iowa State, Cincinnati and Kansas. Most recently at Kentucky, she helped guide the Wildcats to an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2025 and worked with goalkeepers who posted strong goals-against numbers and multiple shutouts. Her work at Iowa State and Cincinnati also included developing goalkeepers who earned conference recognition.

A former Kansas goalkeeper, Dobyns appeared in 60 matches during her college career and ranked among the program’s leaders in wins and shutouts. She later began her coaching career in operations and player development.

K-State is coming off the first winning season in program history and set several school records in 2025. The addition of Dobyns adds experience as the Wildcats prepare for the 2026 season.
