The Kansas State women’s golf team secured the MountainView Collegiate title, led by individual champion Carla Bernat. K-State shot a final-round 5-under par 283, finishing with a 10-shot lead at 4-over par 868. Bernat, a former Tulane transfer, took home the individual title with an 11-under par 205, winning by nine shots. This marks K-State’s first win at the event since 2002.
Sophomore Alenka Navarro posted a 3-under par 69 to climb into a tie for 11th place, while junior Noa van Beek tied for seventh. The Wildcats’ victory marks their 20th program win and their third under head coach Stew Burke.
