K-State Women’s Basketball Earns Academic Honor Roll Recognition

Kansas State women’s basketball received a Special Mention on the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic Honor Roll for the 2024-25 season. The Wildcats were one of eight Big 12 teams recognized for their academic performance.

Under head coach Jeff Mittie, K-State posted a team GPA of 3.317, marking the fourth consecutive year the program earned Special Mention honors.

During the season, six players earned Academic All-Big 12 honors. Serena Sundell was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-American Second Team, and the team also received two Academic All-District citations.

In Mittie’s 11 years at K-State, the program has accumulated 65 Academic All-Big 12 awards and multiple academic honors, highlighting its commitment to success both on the court and in the classroom.
