Governor Laura Kelly announced that ten Kansas communities will receive more than $2.5 million in federal funding through the Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Infrastructure Grant program, part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The funds will support airport improvement projects across the state.

With the addition of $145,000 in state matching funds from the Kansas Infrastructure Hub and the Build Kansas Fund, along with over $22,000 in local contributions, the total investment for these airport projects exceeds $2.6 million.
