Governor Laura Kelly, under Executive Order #20-30, has directed that flags across Kansas be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in observance of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

Governor Laura Kelly noted that the attacks on December 7, 1941, were a devastating tragedy that took the lives of many brave service members. She said the 84th anniversary of Pearl Harbor is a time to reflect on the day, honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and recognize the courage of men and women who have defended the nation and continue to do so today.
