Kansas Governor Orders Flags at Half-Staff to Honor National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

In observance of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day and Executive Order #20-30, Governor Laura Kelly has directed flags to be flown at half-staff on all state buildings, grounds, and facilities across Kansas from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

“On the anniversary of this unforgettable tragedy, we’re reminded of our service members’ immense courage and sacrifice on December 7, 1941,” Governor Laura Kelly said. “As we reflect on the 83rd anniversary of Pearl Harbor, I encourage all Kansans to join me in honoring those who fought for our freedom then, and continue to defend our country now.”
