Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce David Toland is encouraging Kansans seeking new job opportunities—and employers looking for talent—to take part in the upcoming Virtual Statewide Job Fair hosted by KANSASWORKS. The event will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16.

Toland said Kansas continues to attract new and expanding businesses, creating a wide range of job opportunities across the state. He credited the state’s hardworking workforce as a key reason companies are choosing to grow in Kansas.

The virtual format allows jobseekers to fill out applications, chat live with employers, and even interview online—all from their digital device. The job fair portal includes a training video, a list of participating employers, and instructions for logging in and registering.

Participants are advised to dress professionally in case they are invited to interview. Accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities by contacting a local workforce center at (877) 509-6757. Registration is required.
