Kansas Museum of History to Celebrate Kansas Day with Live Events and Virtual Programs and Welcomes the Return of Museum After Hours

The Kansas Museum of History is gearing up for Kansas Day, Thursday, January 29, with a special event taking place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. featuring live performances, demonstrations, and educational activities.

Those who can’t make it in person will be able to catch live sessions during the Kansas Day Edventure program hosted by Wichita Public Schools. There will be two programs about Famous Kansas and Kansas Symbols at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. hosted by staff from the museum.

The museum also announced the return of Museum After Hours beginning this Friday, January 9, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will continue on the second Friday of each month. Admission to the museum gallery will be free these nights.
