The State of Kansas ended November 2025 with $687.0 million in total tax collections — $1.9 million, or 0.3%, below the estimate. Overall collections were still up 1.7% compared to November 2024.

Individual income tax collections totaled $368.5 million, coming in $7.9 million (2.2%) above the estimate and rising 9.9% from a year ago. Corporate income tax collections reached $18.7 million, which is $968,253 (4.9%) below expectations and down 23.5% from November 2024.

Combined retail sales and compensating use tax receipts came to $276.2 million, falling $9.0 million (3.1%) short of the estimate and 3.9% lower than last year.

“November’s tax collections were nearly on target overall. While individual income tax collections were up, corporate income tax collections were again below estimates and significantly below November 2024 levels,” Governor Laura Kelly said.
