Kansas State University is strengthening its global leadership in the fields of animal and human health. In partnership with the Kansas Department of Commerce, the Greater Manhattan Economic Partnership, and the University of Kansas, K-State recently hosted One Health Industry Engagement Days, welcoming representatives from over six countries.
Held June 4–6, the event highlighted Kansas as a hub for research, innovation, manufacturing, and economic growth in health-related industries. Attendees engaged with academic and industry leaders and toured key facilities, including K-State’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biosecurity Research Institute. The itinerary also featured visits to the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KU Medical Center in Kansas City, and Hill’s Pet Nutrition in Topeka.

The event reinforced K-State’s commitment to supporting Kansas communities through partnerships that drive economic development, public health, and biosecurity. Through faculty research and corporate collaboration, the university continues to advance innovation in the animal health sector and build connections with global partners.
