The Kansas Chamber, in partnership with Go Topeka and the Greater Topeka Partnership, will host the 2025 Kansas Women in Business Conference on Tuesday, November 12, at Townsite Tower in Topeka.
This year’s theme, “Own Your Impact,” encourages women to lead boldly, connect authentically, and strengthen their workplaces and communities. The one-day event brings together women leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals from across Kansas for keynotes, leadership panels, and networking sessions focused on confidence, collaboration, and growth.
Dr. Ashley Smith, licensed psychologist and co-founder of Peak Mind, will open the conference with “Courageously Confident: The Key to Bold Living.” She’ll share research-based strategies to overcome self-doubt and lead with purpose.
Nicole Jacobs Silvey, president of Connection Coach KC, will present “Community Building Through Authentic Leadership,” emphasizing empathy, allyship, and aligning personal values with professional purpose.
Leadership coach Mary Messner will close with “Shaping Culture Through Intentional Leadership,” highlighting how communication and mentorship foster thriving workplace cultures.
The event also includes a Strengths in Action workshop by Kristen O’Shea and a C-Suite Leadership Panel led by Lisa Thimmesch featuring Kansas executives discussing leadership and success.
