Jobseekers and employers are invited to join the upcoming “Hire a Veteran Day” Virtual Job Fair, hosted by KANSASWORKS on Friday, July 25, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is open to everyone but is especially focused on helping veterans move into civilian careers.
KANSASWORKS is organizing this event to connect veterans with employers who value military experience and are actively looking to hire former service members.
The virtual job fair allows jobseekers to apply for jobs, chat with employers, and even take part in virtual interviews—all from a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
The event website includes helpful resources like a training video for jobseekers, a list of participating employers, and links to register and log in. Participants should dress professionally in case they are asked to interview during the event.
Those with disabilities can request accommodations by calling their local workforce center at (877) 509-6757 before the event.
Registration is required to attend, even if you’ve joined a previous virtual job fair. To register, visit: bit.ly/KSVetsJobFair.
