KDOT Approves December Bid In Cloud County

The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) held a letting December 13, 2023 in Topeka, Kansas. They announced approved bids for both state highway construction and maintenance projects. Some of the bids include multiple projects that have been grouped together based on the type of work they require and proximity to one another.

One of the bids approved is in Cloud County, which is located in District Two, North Central. Below is what KDOT approved:

Cloud ‑ 81‑15 KA‑7130‑01 – U.S. 81, from 5.085 miles north of the Cloud/Ottawa county line north to 12.680 miles of the Cloud/Ottawa county line, recycle and overlay, 7.6 miles, Dustrol Inc., Towanda, Kansas, $1,355,517.98.
