Kelce Joins Elite Tight End Club, Future Uncertain

Travis Kelce reached a historic milestone in what could be his final NFL game Sunday as the Kansas City Chiefs fell 14-12 to the Las Vegas Raiders. The 36-year-old tight end surpassed 13,000 career receiving yards, becoming just the third tight end in league history to do so, joining Tony Gonzalez and Jason Witten.

Kelce, who has spent his entire 13-year career with the Chiefs, has won three Super Bowls and played in two others. He also earned seven All-Pro selections and 11 Pro Bowls, finishing with 1,080 receptions, 13,002 yards, and 84 touchdowns.

The future Hall of Famer has not confirmed whether he will return for the 2026 season. After the game, Kelce said he would take time with family and the team before deciding. Teammate Chris Jones expressed confidence that Kelce would be back next year.
