KHP Releases Memorial Day Weekend Activity Report

The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) has released its Memorial Day Weekend Activity Report for 2025. The report covers the period from 6 p.m. Friday, May 23, through 11:59 p.m. Monday, May 26.

During that time, troopers responded to four non-DUI related fatal crashes, and seven non-DUI related deaths. They issued 77 seat belt citations, made 20 DUI arrests, and handed out 500 speeding tickets.

KHP also assisted 590 stranded or troubled motorists throughout the holiday weekend.
