KSDE Announces Participation in Child and Adult Care Food Program, Providing Federal Funds for Nutritious Meals

The Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) announces that sponsoring agencies are participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program for the current year. This program provides federal funds to sponsors for serving nutritious meals to enrolled participants.

Federal reimbursement to centers is determined by the number of meals served to participants eligible for free, reduced-price, or paid meals. Day care homes receive varying reimbursement rates based on their location and the provider’s household income.
