Leadership Kansas Selects 40 New Leaders for 2025 Class

Leadership Kansas (LK), one of the oldest and most respected statewide leadership programs in the country, is dedicated to developing and inspiring leaders from across the state.

For the 2025 program, Leadership Kansas received over 500 nominations. After a thorough selection process, a committee of LK alumni chose 40 individuals for the class. The committee strives to ensure the class is diverse in terms of geography, ethnicity, occupation, and gender.

The 2025 program, running from April to November, will include visits to Dodge City, Garden City, Hays, Hutchinson, Kansas City, Leavenworth, Manhattan, Pittsburg, Salina, Topeka, and Wichita. Over the course of the program, the class will engage with experts and community leaders through three-day educational sessions, covering topics like business, education, agriculture, public policy, societal health, economic development, and government.

“Leadership Kansas is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” said LK Executive Director Aaron Miller (LK ’16). “Participants meet many of Kansas’ distinguished business and government leaders and become stronger leaders, better prepared to contribute to their communities and our state.”
