Leonardville to Celebrate Annual Holiday Hullabaloo with Festive Activities on November 30th

The City of Leonardville will hold its annual Holiday Hullabaloo on Saturday, November 30th in downtown Leonardville. The festivities begin at 2:00 p.m. with a new Lighted Tractor Show.

Patrons who want to kick off the holiday spirit early are invited to the Festival of Wreaths and Trees on Friday beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Riley County Football Team will be serving lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a free will donation for attendees.

Chandra Ruthstrom, Leonardville Pride’s Social Media Officer said, “This year’s Holiday Hullabaloo promises to be bigger and brighter than ever, featuring new activities and new Christmas displays for all ages to enjoy. Be on the lookout for an animated combine and waving wheat!”

The Hullabaloo will feature a Live Nativity Scene, Vendors, free Horse and Carriage Rides, Parade, and more. Ruthstrom said, “The Holiday Hullabaloo brings a sense of joy and holiday spirit to the community, creating a festive atmosphere for all ages to enjoy. It provides an opportunity for people to come together to make new friends, connect with neighbors, and create lasting memories and holiday traditions with family.”

Santa and Mrs. Claus will make an appearance during the lighted parade, which begins at 5:30 p.m. Ruthstrom said all are welcome to participate in the parade, participants are asked to meet at the ball field at 5:15 p.m.

The day will conclude with the Lighting of Displays downtown, followed by a soup supper at the Community Building, Santa will also be there until 7:30 p.m. greeting kids.
