Local Coaches Highlight Kansas Shrine Bowl Hall of Fame Class of 2025

The Kansas Shrine Bowl Hall of Fame Class of 2025 includes several football figures with strong local ties. The inductees will be honored on May 7, 2025, during the Coach Bill Snyder Family/Sunflower Chapter National Football Foundation Banquet at Kansas State University’s Shamrock Plaza.

Among the honorees is Kent Sedlacek, a 1979 East All-Star from Hanover High School who played for Kansas State University. Sedlacek has spent over three decades at the KSU Foundation, helping secure more than $400 million in charitable contributions.

Collin Sexton, an Abilene High School graduate and 2012 West All-Star, is also being recognized. He currently serves as Deputy Athletics Director for Kansas Athletics, overseeing strategic initiatives.

Dane Simoneau, from Salina Sacred Heart High School, earned Hall of Fame honors for his record-setting career at Washburn University and his current role as Offensive Coordinator there.

The class is rounded out by CJ Hamilton, the longtime Silver Lake High School coach. Hamilton’s 447 career wins and eight state championships solidify his legacy as Kansas’ all-time winningest high school football coach.

The inductees will also be honored during the 52nd Kansas Shrine Bowl on June 21, 2025, in Dodge City.
