Memorial Service for Betty Lu Losh will be at 2:00pm Saturday April 23rd, 2022 at the Concordia Wesleyan Church with Pastor David Redmond officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Concordia Wesleyan Church or the Cloud County Historical Society. Nutter Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Betty Losh was born June 15th, 1937 in Cedar County NE, the daughter of Clarence and Sarah Newton Anderson.  She spent her childhood in Hartington, Nebraska graduating from Hartington High School.  She attended Wayne State Teachers College then taught 4 years in rural schools in Cedar County, NE.  In 1958, she married Richard Wilson.  They made their home in Lawrence, Kansas. Betty had four children, Melanie, David, Janeen and Tom.  In December 1980, Betty graduated from Kansas University with an Accounting degree.  She moved to Concordia, Kansas to work with Kennedy & Coe as a certified public accountant until her retirement in 2002.  Betty married Tracy Losh in January 1989.  Betty was a member of the Wesleyan Church and Standing Stones Sunday School Class.  She was active in church events and loved her church family dearly, cooking many meals, filling  and cleaning thousands of Easter eggs, making popcorn and serving drinks, and a founding member of Wesleyan Ladies.  Community was important to Betty.  She volunteered for American Red Cross Blood drives, made pies for the Hospital Auxiliary, served as treasurer many years for the museum, and worked elections.  Betty enjoyed traveling, playing and teaching bridge several times a week, golfing, all types of puzzles, gardening but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by her children, Melanie Lorenzo (Stu), David Wilson (Kathy), Janeen James, and Tom Wilson (Cindy), her brother Rod Anderson (Cindy), her sister Lola Peterson and her beloved grandchildren Justin (Didra), Josh (Courtney), Jake (Jordan) Lorenzo, Michael Wilson (Nicole), Lindsey Barnes (Cordell), Shaun James (Whitney), Tracy Lynn Wilson and Riley Wilson, great grandchildren, Baily and Caleb Lorenzo, Cash Lorenzo, Greyson Lorenzo, Caroline Lorenzo, Jullian Wilson,  Erica Smith and soon to arrive Theo James and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

She is predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Sarah Anderson, sisters, Joan Schulte, Clara Anderson, and husband Tracy Losh.
