Kansas State senior Shaylee Myers added another achievement to her career Wednesday, earning AVCA All-America Honorable Mention recognition.

Myers is the 12th player in program history to receive AVCA All-America honors and the second under head coach Jason Mansfield. The honor capped a strong senior season that included AVCA Region Player of the Year, First Team All-Region and unanimous First Team All-Big 12 recognition.

A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, Myers led the Wildcats with 498 kills and averaged 4.70 kills per set, setting a program record in the rally-scoring era. She also totaled 547 points during the season.

Myers recorded a school-record 34 kills against West Virginia on Oct. 1 and reached the 1,000-kill milestone during the NCAA Tournament.

She finished her career with 1,029 kills as K-State ended the season 18-10 and made its first NCAA Tournament appearance under Mansfield.
