Myers Earns Third Big 12 Offensive Award of the Season

Kansas State senior Shaylee Myers was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday, marking her third selection of the season after helping the Wildcats to an undefeated week.

Myers reached a career milestone in K-State’s four-set win over Cincinnati, becoming the 28th player in program history to surpass 1,000 career points. She finished the match with 21 kills and 10 digs, her fourth double-double of the year.

Across two matches, Myers recorded 32 kills, 16 digs, three blocks, and an ace for 35 total points. She ranked fourth in the conference for kills per set (4.57) and points per set (5.00) during the week.

Her 21 kills against Cincinnati moved her into a tie for fifth in program history with nine matches of 20 or more kills in a single season, matching Shawnee Call and Aliyah Carter.
