For the last couple of years, Girl Scout cookies have gone digital with online ordering.
April Tate, mom of a Clay Center Girl Scout, says online ordering has allowed far away family members to still support their favorite Girl Scout.
“We register our Girl Scouts online. Once their profile is created, we can post the link,” she said. “Especially for those that have family members that aren’t close. They can order through that link and still support the Girl Scouts.”
Online orders can be shipped directly, and the website offers other options for giving the gift of Girls Scout cookies. Cookie time is highly anticipated, and Tate said there’s still time to get those treasured cookies on their way. Each troop member has their own online ordering profile so individual sales can be tracked.
“We can take orders through the link and in person up until the middle of March,” Tate said.
