For the third straight year, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been named the No. 1 player in the NFL by CBS Sports. Analyst Pete Prisco highlighted Mahomes as the league’s best, saying he would be the first pick in any draft regardless of stats.

Mahomes is entering his eighth season as the Chiefs’ starter and has led the NFL in passing yards (32,068) and touchdowns (245) since 2018. Under his leadership, Kansas City has recorded the most regular-season and playoff wins during that time.

Six Chiefs players made Prisco’s top 100 list, including center Creed Humphrey (16), defensive tackle Chris Jones (18), cornerback Trent McDuffie (46), guard Trey Smith (75), and tight end Travis Kelce (96).

Mahomes continues to build on a strong career and looks to add more highlights in the coming season.
