RCPD Conducting Community Survey

Manhattan, KS–  The Riley County Police Department has opened a Community Survey in an attempt to capture perceptions of RCPD’s performance in accomplishing our mission of reducing crime and improving the quality of life for the citizens we serve.

The results of the survey will assist in plans for future law enforcement tactics in Riley County and best practices within RCPD. The survey is currently open and will remain open until December 31, 2022.

“We want to make sure we are listening to those we serve and hearing their concerns,” said Interim Director Kurt Moldrup. “This survey will help us greatly moving forward to decide how we police and if we need to make any changes.”

RCPD is nationally accredited through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). One measure of a police department’s success in meeting these professional standards is by inviting the community to have input.

Those interested in participating in the survey can do so at rileycountypolice.org/survey.
