Kansas City Royals first baseman Jac Caglianone was named to MLB Pipeline’s 2025 Prospect Team of the Year after an impressive season across Double-A and Triple-A. The 2024 first-round pick hit .337 with 20 home runs and 72 RBIs over 66 games, including a .705 slugging percentage during his time with Triple-A Omaha.
Caglianone, 22, quickly adjusted to professional pitching and showed the power and plate discipline that made him a top draft selection. His performance earned brief call-ups to the Major Leagues, and he is expected to compete for a roster spot in Kansas City in 2026.
The Royals were one of 16 organizations represented on MLB Pipeline’s All-MiLB First and Second Teams. The honor caps a strong year for Kansas City’s farm system, which continues to develop key contributors for the franchise’s long-term success.
