Salina Presbyterian Manor Breaks Ground on $10M Expansion

A recent groundbreaking ceremony at Salina Presbyterian Manor celebrated the launch of a major $10 million expansion project. Phase one of this project began in 2022 and saw 29 new villas built, and phase two, the “Preserving Legacies, Enriching Lives” fundraising campaign, will includes a state of the art wellness center, new swimming pool, a new rehab center, main entrance, redesigned lobby and welcome center, and a new cocktail lounge and bistro.

Speakers at the ceremony highlighted the community’s generosity and the project’s focus on improving senior living spaces to support healthy, active lifestyles and social connections.

Key leaders, including Executive Director Melissa Brumbaugh, PMMA President and CEO Bruce Schubert, Board Chair Dan Harris, and local dignitaries, acknowledged the collaboration between residents, donors, staff, and local partners. State representatives recognized the project’s impact on seniors and the community.

The event included photos, and a ceremonial first shovelful of dirt to mark the beginning of construction. Guests celebrated the achievement and the promise of an upgraded space for current and future residents.
