During a January 5 special meeting of the Unified School District 379 Board, the employment of Vivian Kurtenbach as a substitute secretary was approved and the resignation of Hidelisa Wright as Twin Lakes Educational Cooperative administrative assistant was accepted.

Also on the agenda, the board interviewed three firms for the construction manager at risk position tied to the potential bond project. Separate interviews with Simpson Construction Services, Inc., Nabholz Construction, and BHS Construction Inc., were conducted during the executive session with the board, superintendent, counsel, and the HTK Architects representative present.
