Kansas State goalkeeper Maddie Sibbing was named Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time this season following her performance in the league opener at Colorado.
Sibbing recorded her sixth shutout of the season in the 0-0 draw, making five saves on 14 shots, including four in the second half. The clean sheet tied the school record for shutouts in a season and matched the mark for shutouts by a sophomore. It was also her second match this year with five or more saves.
This season Sibbing is 5-1-2 with 25 saves, a .893 save percentage and a 0.38 goals-against average. Her five wins set a program record for victories by a sophomore and rank third all-time in a single season.
