Six Kansas State baseball players were named to the All-Big 12 Conference Teams on Tuesday May 20th.
Junior Maximus Martin and graduate outfielder Keegan O’Connor were selected to the Second Team. Freshman AJ Evasco was named to the All-Freshman Team, while Seth Dardar, Jacob Frost, and James Guyette earned honorable mention recognition.
Martin leads the team with a .337 batting average, 18 doubles, and 14 home runs. O’Connor has 16 home runs and 56 RBI, both team highs. Evasco, hitting .306, is one home run away from the K-State freshman record.
Dardar has 12 home runs and a .327 average. Frost, a left-handed pitcher, has 69 strikeouts and a .228 opponent average. Guyette holds a 3.98 ERA, four saves, and a .179 opponent average in Big 12 play.
K-State enters the Big 12 Championship as the No. 6 seed and will face Houston on Wednesday at 8 p.m. CT at Globe Life Field.
