Statewide Silver Alert issued for missing Wichita woman

SEDGWICK COUNTY – The Wichita Police Department requested the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) issue a statewide Silver Alert for a missing Wichita woman.

The whereabouts of 78-year-old Lucy Daniels are unknown, and public assistance is requested to help locate her.

Daniels is likely driving a navy blue 2021 Chevrolet Silverado with no license plate, or possibly a temporary tag. She was last seen on Aug. 14, at approximately 10 p.m.

Daniels is a black female who is around 5 foot 3 inches tall and weighs approximately 250 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last known wearing a multi-colored nightgown and a brown head wrap. Daniels has Alzheimer’s and walks with a limp.
