Street Cats Club, a nonprofit based out of Emporia, shared its 2025 Community Impact Report, revealing how donors, volunteers, fosters, and colony caretakers made a difference in the lives of cats.

The number of cats fixed totaled 487, which includes 46 cats that were spayed/neutered through the Lola Love Fund, and 396 cats were fixed through TNR with a total of 3,938 miles driven to TNR clinics. Rescue was provided to 75 orphaned, sick, or injured cats, and 86 cats found permanent homes. In addition, 128 winter shelters were constructed, and 5,774 pounds of food were provided, which includes 1,599 pounds of dry food, and 4,175 pounds of wet food. In total, $46,467.56 went toward veterinary care to help cats in the region.

Street Cats Club emphasized that its 33 volunteers, who spent countless hours planning, trapping, transporting, fostering, and more, made this possible alongside supportive communities, and can’t express their appreciation enough.
