Former Kansas State star Serena Sundell has signed a seven-day hardship contract with the WNBA’s Dallas Wings and will be active for Wednesday’s game against Connecticut.
A 2025 WNBA Draft pick by Seattle, Sundell also signed with Australia’s Adelaide Lightning for the upcoming WNBL season starting in October. The All-America honorable mention had a record-setting senior year, leading the nation with 262 assists and averaging 14.1 points on 50% shooting.
Sundell is the first player in Big 12 history with four seasons of 350+ points and 150+ assists, finishing her K-State career as the program’s all-time leader in assists (811) and starts (139). She also ranks sixth in career scoring with 1,771 points.
This summer, Sundell starred in multiple 3×3 events, representing the U.S. internationally and winning Spokane’s elite 3XBA tournament.
