Tanganyika Wildlife Park announced the addition of three new giraffe calves to its herd. The park said on Facebook that Otto, who was born on July 31st, is still behind the scenes being bottle-fed. The second calf, a female, joined the herd on August 21st and is now exploring her new surroundings. The most recent addition, a male, arrived on September 1st and the park said he’s already enjoying his time in the Safari area.
“These births are a big win for giraffe conservation and help support global efforts to protect these majestic creatures,” said the park.
Tanganyika invites the public to visit through November 10th to see the newest members of its giraffe herd and experience a close encounter.
