On March 27th kindergarteners from USD 379 attended CCMC for a teddy bear clinic. The kids each brought a stuffed animal and visited radiology, the ER, and wellness center.
Throughout the tour, stuffed animals were bandaged, set up for an X-ray, and examined by the kids using hospital equipment like stethoscopes.
“These clinics are a fun and educational experience designed to help young children become more comfortable with healthcare settings,” said Bryce Dolan, Development and Foundation Director.

“Kids brought their favorite stuffed animals for a ‘check-up,’ allowing them to interact with medical professionals in a stress-free environment. Our goal is to ease any fears children may have about doctor visits while also teaching them the importance of health and wellness.”
