Three Former Wildcats to Compete in NBA 2K26 Summer League

Three former Kansas State basketball players will take part in the NBA 2K26 Summer League, which begins Thursday, July 10, and runs through July 20 in Las Vegas.

Keyontae Johnson will play for the Denver Nuggets after averaging 17.7 points in the G-League with the Greensboro Swarm. Markquis Nowell joins the Milwaukee Bucks after posting 17.3 points and 8.1 assists per game last season with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

Recent graduate Coleman Hawkins signed a summer league deal with the Golden State Warriors. He played in the California Classic earlier this month, averaging 8.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in two games.

Johnson and Nowell will face each other on opening night, July 10, at 8:30 p.m. CT on NBA TV. Hawkins begins play July 11. Games will be televised on NBA TV, ESPN2, and ESPN+. The playoffs begin July 18.
