Three K-State Boats Medal at Big 12 Rowing Championship

Kansas State Rowing closed its spring season at the Big 12 Championship with strong results, earning two silver medals and one bronze at Nathan Benderson Park. The Wildcats finished fourth overall with 49 points, their best team finish since 2019.

The 1v4+ and 2v4+ boats both claimed silver, while the 3v8+ earned bronze. UCF won the team title with 84 points.

This was the final race for longtime head coach Patrick Sweeney, who announced his retirement after 22 seasons. Assistant Kennedy Felice will take over as head coach.

Three Wildcats — Gracyn McClain, Sylvia Cunningham and Grace Hall — were named to the All-Big 12 team.

K-State ends the year with eight medals and 24 total wins. The team now looks ahead to the future under new leadership.
