Three K-State women’s basketball players will be busy this summer. Serena Sundell, a recent graduate and 2025 WNBA Draft pick by the Seattle Storm, will play in the Pro Women’s FIBA 3×3 tournament in Spokane, Washington, June 27–28. The event is part of the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series. Incoming freshman Gina Garcia will represent Spain in both the FIBA U18 and U20 Women’s EuroBasket tournaments in July and August. She’s played in multiple international events and helped Spain to medal finishes in 2023 and 2024. Former Wildcat Gabby Gregory, who played at K-State from 2022–2024, signed to play professionally in Puerto Rico with Monarcas de Juana Diaz in the BSNF league. Gregory scored over 1,500 career points and had one of the top free throw percentages in K-State history.
