Three Wildcats Named to NABC Honors Court

Brendan Hausen, Max Jones, and David N’Guessan were named to the 2024-25 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court. This annual honor recognizes junior, senior, and graduate men’s basketball players who finish the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. To qualify, the player’s coach must also be a member of the NABC.

Hausen, known as “The Amarillo Assassin,” is a junior guard from Amarillo, Texas, who transferred from Villanova. In his first season with Kansas State, he averaged 10.9 points per game, shot 38.8% from three-point range, and made 90 three-pointers—ranking sixth in school history. He scored in double figures 20 times, with a season-high 27 points against Saint John’s.

Max Jones, a junior guard from Clearwater, Florida, transferred from Cal State Fullerton. He averaged 15.3 points per game and shot 47.1% from the field, earning Second Team All-Big West honors. Jones adds scoring and experience to K-State’s backcourt.

David N’Guessan, a senior wing from the Netherlands, led the team in scoring and rebounding during his final season. He set school records for field goal percentage, earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention, and finished his career with over 1,000 points. N’Guessan also played for the Dutch National Team.
