Kansas State men’s golf added transfer Shea Harmeson to its 2025-26 roster, head coach Grant Robbins announced Wednesday. Harmeson comes from Saginaw Valley State, where he played for three seasons.
Harmeson, from Traverse City, Michigan, switched focus from ice hockey to golf during college, leading to strong results. He posted a 72.61 scoring average in 2024-25, earning First Team All-GLIAC honors and winning two tournaments, including the GLIAC Championship with a 36-hole score of 8-under 136.
He also had top finishes at the Battle at Brunswick and Findlay Spring Invitational, with multiple top-10 and top-20 results. As a sophomore, Harmeson earned second team all-conference honors with a 73.86 average.
Harmeson joins other new Wildcats, including transfer Max Reynolds and freshmen Oliver Toyer and Ville Virkkala.
