Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie has been ranked No. 5 on Pro Football Focus’ annual “25 Under 25” list, which highlights the top young players in the NFL. It marks a jump from last year, when McDuffie was ranked No. 10.
The 24-year-old has played both inside and outside cornerback for the Chiefs. According to PFF, McDuffie is the highest-graded cornerback in the NFL since 2023, earning an overall grade of 89.7.
He also holds an 89.4 coverage grade since entering the league in 2022, placing him in the top five among all cornerbacks. He is the only player in that group to have played over 25% of his career snaps in the slot.
McDuffie’s growth in Steve Spagnuolo’s defense continues to be a key part of the Chiefs’ success in the secondary as he enters his third NFL season.
