Turnovers Lead to K-State Home Loss

Seton Hall used steady defense and key runs in both halves to hand Kansas State a 78-67 loss Saturday at Bramlage Coliseum. The Pirates turned 16 Wildcat turnovers into 22 points and limited K-State to season lows in field-goal, three-point, and free-throw percentage.

Seton Hall led 35-29 at halftime and opened the second half with a 9-2 run to push the margin to 13. K-State cut the deficit to eight with six minutes left, but the Pirates answered with nine straight points to regain control.

A.J. Staton-McCray and Elijah Fisher each scored 16 for Seton Hall, now 9-1. K-State’s starters all finished in double figures, led by Khamari McGriff with 12 points and eight rebounds. The Wildcats dropped to 5-4 and have lost back-to-back non-conference home games for the first time since 2020-21.
