Governor Laura Kelly has directed flags at the State Capitol Complex and all court buildings and facilities be flown at half-staff to honor 18th Judicial District Division 10 Judge Bruce Brown, in accordance with Executive Order #20-30.

Judge Brown’s funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, with interment to follow. Flags will remain at half-staff until sundown on that day.
