The Kansas State Wildcats women’s golf team finished third at the Westbrook Invitational, highlighted by Noa van Beek’s first collegiate win.
Van Beek posted a school-record 54-hole score of 14-under 202 at Westbrook Village Golf Club in Peoria, Arizona. She closed with a 5-under 67, including birdies on her final two holes, to finish one shot ahead of Kansas’ Lyla Louderbaugh.
As a team, K-State shot 27-under 837, setting a program record for a 54-hole event. The Wildcats’ final-round 275 tied for the fourth-lowest round in school history.
Nanami Nakashima tied for 11th at 7-under 209, while Kelsey Chen and Julia Ballester Barrio each finished at 3-under 213.
Missouri won the team title at 37-under, followed by Arizona. K-State returns to action March 9-10 at the Yale Invitational West in California.
