Wakefield’s The Bomber Grind Christmas Window Wins First Place

By Quinn O’Hara

A cafe in Wakefield has won Grow Clay County’s Christmas Window Decorating Contest.

The annual Clay County Christmas Window decorating contest serves as a way to facilitate friendly competition between Clay County businesses.

The winning entry came from The Bomber Grind in Wakefield, and features a gingerbread house drawn by Sienna Severson. Neal Summerson is the owner of the cafe, and says he was happy that they won because of how well he says the window drawing turned out:

Summerson says Sienna is a local artist in Wakefield, and was happy to see Sienna and her work receive the recognition she deserves.

The contest also gave voting participants an opportunity to win a $50 gift card to their favorite local business. Rylee Kensa was selected in the random drawing for the gift card.
